European Destinations

I absolutely adore Europe.  I think it was part way through my trip to Stuttgart, Germany, in May, 2019, that I realized my love of it.  I still remember when it happened...we were day tripping to really cute small German towns along the train route and we stopped at Tubingen.  I had never seen anything like it.  Everything was so different from anything I have experienced living in the United States.  

I was supposed to go back to Germany in 2020, but the COVID-19 Pandemic put a halt to everything.  It was not until September, 2021, that I was able to get back to this fascinating country.  Those small cute German towns!  The delicious food!  Everything so perfect...at least for a foreigner travelling there for a few weeks.  I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to see more.  I decided to go back two more times in 2022.  I went for four weeks in the summer, and this time, I got to travel to France to visit Disneyland and Paris city.  Then, I went back to Germany for two weeks at Christmas to partake in the Christmas celebrations.  Other than being cold, and me not dressing for the occasion, it was amazing to see at Christmas.  Sadly, 2023, flew by so quickly that I did not take any international trips.  But, I made up for it in 2024, when I decided it was time to go back to Europe.  I did so in September for four weeks and spent much of it in Germany, but did manage to spend 5 days in Paris.

After returning home, I really started thinking about my passion, my desire for travel.  As I mentioned earlier, I absolutely adore Europe.  But, there is so much world to see and so little time.  I decided my trip for 2025 would take me to Japan.  So, follow along with me as I begin making my travel arrangements.  I have not even booked my flight yet, but once I do, hotels and other plans will follow shortly thereafter.
